Modeling Waves /
For a while now I have been wanting to model realistic looking waves, like the ones I see outside the window over the bay at Pier 9.

SmarterShade Door /
For the past week I returned to my beloved city of Chicago to help put together a door I design two weeks ago.
It was quite incredible seeing it all come together in such a short period of time. All thanks to the great team of Abhiroop Chattopadhyay (Abhi), Aaron Brown and Mike Stacy.

Sculpting a bird /
I'll be working with Charlie Nordstrom, the amazing videographer who makes the videos of Pier 9, to make 3D Light Paintings using the DMS Router as artist. The drawing will be about a bird flying so I been looking at birds for the entire morning.
Tomorrow we will bring the bird into the digital world using one of the scanners, or perhaps I'll use 123D Catch.
Forgetting Memories /
The latest piece is a work in progress, it was inspired by the idea of distorting digital media in order to get rid of it, In a more honest way, it is not about getting rid of the image but more of the pain associated with staring at such image. In this case I wanted to give the spectator time and a process to detach from such image. The actual speed is a lot slower, allowing for a more gradual transition.

Infiltrating Pier9! /

OpenSCAD by McMadhatter /
While doing my rounds through the internet I came across McMadhatter's work. He build an openSCAD script based on my work to model the sundial for any latitude. This is pretty amazing!
